MAYSAMA Green Rooibos Pressed Serum is a high-performance antioxidant serum, formulated with rooibos, better known as Redbush by its tea-drinking devotees, as a bioactive ingredient. Our unique formula incorporates Aspalathin-enriched Green Rooibos as an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API). Green Rooibos comes from the unfermented leaves and has a much higher antioxidant content than red rooibos, as the flavonoids have not been destroyed by oxidation. MAYSAMA’s pharmaceutical grade green rooibos has a patented extraction process that greatly enhances the aspalathin content, the main flavonoid responsible for its antioxidant activity, giving a far superior cosmetic ingredient.
